NUMISMA is a virtual state, citizens of which live all over the world. Every numismatist may call himself a citizen of Numisma - no matter is he a beginner or a professional, a child or an adult, a man or a woman. This person must only be engrossed in numismatics. The word NUMISMA comes from the Latin word for "coin". NUMISMA.RU is an internet-site, a place where collectors from all over the world can meet. Every numismatist can find something interesting and useful for him at this resource. In honor of the tenth anniversary of the site a jubilee coin was made at the Moscow mint. On the obverse a world map is represented. There is the country's name, "STATE OF NUMISMA" above the map, and below the map there are three lines: "TENTH ANNIVERSARY 2000-2010 www.numisma.ru". The reverse has the coin's face value "10 numismaru", "UNUSUAL as ORDINARY" above it and ten stars below which symbolize the ten years of the site's existing and the year of the coin issue. To the left of the nominal there is the monogram of the site's author which consists of the initials - SVA, and to the right - its specular reflection. Both sides of the coin are framed by a tracery which you can see at each page of the site on the left. The motto "UNUSUAL as ORDINARY" means that nowadays numismatics is beyond the scope of the concept of an ordinary coin. There are a lot of UNUSUAL coins which are the main subjects of collections of many numismatists, i.e. they are an object of collection and study. As the main subject of the collection of the site's author is UNUSUAL coins, the site has a large UNUSUAL sector which got one more item on 14 May 2010.
